Made
from the flesh of Cucurvita Moschata pumpkin grown in Ecuador.
ORGANOLEPTIC
DESCRIPTION:
The colour of the pumpkin flakes is tan yellow. The puree
made by reconstituting pumpkin flakes with water has the colour,
odour and flavour of mashed cooked pumpkin.
PROCESSING:
Produced by ripening, peeling, pulping, blanching, sieving
and sterilizing the pulp. then drum drying it wihtout any
carriers or additivies.

Pumpkin only. Neither carriers nor additives used.

APPLICATIONS:
Trobana® Pumpkin Flakes are ideal for dry fruit preparations,
cake mixes, etc. The flakes reconstituted 1:9 with water are
used in the same traditional uses as cooked pumpkin. Suitable
for vegetable preparations, cakes, muffins, pies, bread, baby
food and soft food diets.
SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE:
Eighteen months, when stored at the recommended temperature
(21°C /70°F) in sealed original containers.

PUMPKIN ESSENCE - 1000 FOLD TROBANA®
Derived
from the flesh of wilted fresh pumpkin of the species Cucurbita
Moschata grown in Ecuador.
ORGANOLEPTIC
DESCRIPTION:
Clear, colorless liquid with intense odor of fresh cooked
pumpkin.
PROCESSING:
Produced by condensation of volatile components of freshly
processed pumpkin products. The density is aproximately that
of water and no solvents, processing aids or preservatives
have been added. Pumpkin Essence 1000 fold is a pure, water
base natural material.
ACTIVE
COMPONENTS:
Characteristic esters, aldehydes, ketones and other components
give strength and character to the pumpkin essence.
SOLUBILITY:
Soluble in water, ethanol, propylene glycol; not soluble in
vegetable oils.
STABILITY:
Twelve months when stored at refrigerator temperatures (less
than 45°F / 7°C) in absence of air and light in sealed
containers. When refrigerated, an organic layer may separate.
Allow essence to reach room temperature and mix thoroughly
to solubilize prior to use. Do not freeze as this precipitates
active ingredients irreversibly.
APPLICATIONS:
Trobana® Pumpkin Essence will produce a natural fresh
pumpkin effect comprising the green and other notes of pumpkin,
in applications where a water based aroma system is used to
impart a pumpkin flavour, especially in refrigerated and frozen
products. Its is also used in combination with pumpkin puree
and other ingredients to enhance the pumpkin aroma of a product.
RECOMMENDED DOSAGE:
Start At 1% by weight and adjust up or down as desired.
